Kyle sees "investing as a way of life" and brings a passion for sponsorship in critical industries. The Roth family in Ohio has farmed the land for 6 generations; through the early settlement forestry period of the 19th century to the canal drainage era which tamed the black swamp and proudly led the adoption of the steam engine plow. Today they focus on sustainable row-crop models.
Kyle is the Founder of Roth Advisory, a firm which provides capital and support to a growing footprint of global entrepreneurs through advocacy and leadership. His communication passion and courage to lean-into uncertainty, has fostered a portfolio of companies to successfully fund and launch their ventures. He serves as a board member of Dream Forward, a faith based entrepreneurial network, and speaks regularly to the next generation of leaders about "active listening" as he leads the Consortium's Mentoring Program.
He is an optimist who leans into business model renewal having seen his own family adapt and expand across the generations due to breakthroughs in technology and infrastructure - which ultimately created an improved way of life for their communities. A strong advocate for localized legacy, he continues to contribute his leadership and co-sponsor alongside those who seek to create noble opportunities for generational legacy; be it through Land Use, Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility and Education.
An alum of Ohio Wesleyan University, Kyle’s classical training is applied mathematics and economic management. He went on to study leadership and public speaking through a seminary institute which enabled his philanthropy work in LATAM/Africa missions (orphan care, medical clinics) and church planting. More recently, he studied at the University of Cambridge Judge School of Business in an executive cohort focused on capital markets within venture capital and private equity.

This pairing has led to his own family’s allocation of resources across projects which foster equity in localized ownership of natural capital ventures with impactful contributions to fostering conservancy ideals. The Reed family has a generational heritage from the early 1900s across both Farming and Ranching as well as Power and Energy investment.
Bill is an active entrepreneur/co-investor, and serves as the Founder of Western Farm Management Services. He brings 30+ years experience in providing active and engaged “boots on the ground” management/executive level leadership in the agriculture and natural resource industry. His management philosophy impacts multiple 100s of thousands of acres in troubled business assets (turnarounds, restarts, restricting, and disposals), agriculture and natural resource acquisitions and asset development, and asset portfolio management.
He is a seasoned executive who amplifies his fiduciary as “the promise maker and the promise keeper” in the natural resource arena. His leadership reputation as a problem solver has given him a vast network of peer stakeholders; amongst other board positions, Bill holds a national recognition (as one of only 32 dual-certified AAC/AFM leaders) within the American Society Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA). His passion for impact continues through his family’s vision for the creation of sanctuary rangelands for wild horses alongside equitable family access for esoteric land investing.
An alum of Texas A&M University, Bill’s education is in Agricultural Economics followed by a masters program in Land Economics and Real Estate. Experiencing business finance firsthand through a period of International commodity trading and then returned to production agriculture to re-engage his core family ethos. Today, his perspective informs a new approach for creating aligned equitable access and liquidity for his peers while upholding integrity with capital partners as the Emissary to investments in Natural Capital.
